Overview

For the second year in a row I joined 36 Days of Type — the annual challenge where designers interpret a letter or number every day for 36 consecutive days.

My concept: every character had to be made from real fruit and vegetables, arranged by hand and photographed.

I gave myself one extra rule: nothing I wouldn’t actually eat. No asparagus bought just to spell a letter and then thrown away. Some letters were genuinely hard, but that’s part of the fun.
